Wills
Writing a Will is a difficult and emotional subject matter for many of us. Yet if you die without leaving a Will (known as dying intestate) it has many unintended consequences, many of which can be difficult on the family left behind.
Our Will Writing service is designed to help you consider what you want to happen to your estate and wealth when you pass away. It will also state who you want to appoint to make sure your wishes are carried out and who you want to look after your children (if applicable) in the event of your death. We will guide you through the entire process to make sure you are aware of all the options you have available and will help you prepare a Will that aligns with your personal wishes and best interests.
Making a Will, with the help of our estate planning specialists, ensures your family can access every aspect of their inheritance in a manner and structure befitting your instruction. It will give clear details for your Executors setting out exactly what you want to happen at your funeral and who you want to appoint as Guardians to look after your children if you die while they are still underage.

The importance of making a Will
Despite the fact that none of us like talking about death, planning for the future is important. If you do not make a Will, you could create difficulties for the family you leave behind. It could also mean that:
- The government will decide who inherits your money, property, and estate. If you are married all of the money may go entirely to your spouse rather than your children, other relatives or friends.
- If you are not married, your partner may not get any money.
- The government will choose who will be best placed to look after your children, and this may not be the wishes you want for them.
- Your family who inherit your estate may have to pay more inheritance tax than is necessary.
- You may not get the funeral that you want.
We recognise that everyone is unique and has different priorities when it comes to who you want to inherit your estate and as such, it deserves a bespoke service, tailored to your financial needs and specific wishes.

For most clients, a simple Will should meet your needs. Simple Wills come in two sizes: Individual Wills and Couples/Mirror Wills.
Mirror Wills are as they sound - a reflection of one another. They are identical in terms of the contents of the Will with each individual having the same roles in the others Will.
| Service | Per Person | Per Couple |

More Complicated Circumstances
Obviously, everyone's circumstances are totally unique, and, in some case, a simple Will is not enough. If, after discussing your needs, we recommend a more complex solution, we'll send you a written report detailing our recommendations and the reasons for those recommendations, together with the total cost of the proposal, before you proceed.
At this point, you're welcome to opt for a simple structured Will if you so wish, however, as part of our service to you, we will always recommend a Will solution that we believe most suits your personal circumstances and needs.
